A Dream for an Eye...

The concept of globalization is creating a pressure on a pluralistic nation like India. And youth are the major carriers of this. They seem to be at an abnormal run and thus failing to sense and recognize the richness of our cultural and social roots. It is in a way pushing them to a self-centred attitude.

In this changing scenario, the meaning of culture is getting altered rapidly.

While the youth of this nation are losing their sense of belonging to the culture and society, Sahajaranga, a theatre workshop is an attempt to give them that sense of belonging. 

Designed for college students, this workshop helps them to know our culture, literature, folklore, ethics and principles while also learning the art of theatre. In association with famous theatre experts and intellectuals, the students are sensitized about many social issues through theatre as a medium.

A play dwelling upon a social issue will be staged by the participants at the end of the workshop.
